Gaston Siciliano began his career in the tattoo industry in 2007, at the age of 17. In 2009, his first creation was a light-weight coil machine device. Its weight was 3 times lighter than anything available in the industry at that point. After moving to the United States, Gaston continued to pursue his passion as a tattoo shop owner with an unwavering focus on the design and development of revolutionary devices with never-done-before features.
As the Founder and CEO of FK Irons and Darklab, Gaston has expanded his focus to become a leading authority in the increasingly complex and competitive field of permanent makeup device engineering. In 2016, Gaston founded Microbeau International which has rapidly grown to become one of the most recognized brands in permanent makeup. Gaston is the mastermind behind Microbeau’s best known products. The fully-adjustable and interchangeable pen-style rotary, Xion S, featuring an autoclavable grip, the feather-weight, sleek, and powerful Bellar, and the first dedicated SMP device – Apollo. It’s designed to alleviate fatigue from the long hours and close work of SMP, while delivering exceptional results.
Gaston is widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable and intuitive permanent makeup device advisors in the industry. He routinely lends his wisdom and expertise at international shows, events, and seminars. He also helps other manufacturers evolve and innovate, believing firmly that the industry is enriched through mentorship, sharing and collaboration.
Wanting to bring his vision of a strong and unified industry, Gaston began to kick the idea of putting together a PMU show. He consulted with SMP expert, Steven Greitzer, and together came up with a concept that would become the first PMU-focused show in Miami – The International Permanent Cosmetics Show. Set to kick off on July 4th weekend, IPCS is bound to become a staple within the industry.
With a view to ensuring PMU artists have the finest and most durable, ergonomic devices, Gaston’s creations have reshaped the PMU industry because of their ingenuity and superior design.
